Indian International Cricketer | Distinguished Alumna of Delhi Public School Vadodara
Yastika Bhatia, a proud alumna of Delhi Public School, Vadodara, has carved a remarkable place for herself in Indian women's cricket through her talent, determination and perseverance.
Born and brought up in Vadodara, Yastika is a left-handed wicketkeeper-batter who represents India at the international level. She made her international debut in 2021, representing India in Test, One Day International and T20 International cricket.
Her journey from the cricket grounds of Vadodara to the international arena is a source of immense pride for the entire DPS Vadodara family.
A Historic Achievement at Lord's
In July 2026, Yastika achieved a landmark feat in women's cricket. During India's historic Test against England at Lord's Cricket Ground, London, she scored a magnificent 113 runs off 158 deliveries.
With this innings, Yastika became the first woman cricketer ever to score a Test century at Lord's, one of the most iconic venues in world cricket. Her name was subsequently added to the prestigious Lord's Honours Board.
Her century was also her maiden international hundred in Test cricket, making the achievement a defining moment in her career.
Representing India
Yastika has represented India across all three international formats:
She has also represented Baroda in domestic cricket and has featured in the Women's Premier League, including representing Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants.
In August 2026, Yastika was also named captain of India A for the ODI and multi-day fixtures of the team's tour of Australia A, reflecting the leadership and experience she has developed through her international career.

Selected in the National Defence Academy, Khadagwasla Pune. Pass out as sub lieutenant in Indian Navy Anannt Sharma, a 2025 alumnus of Delhi Public School, Vadodara, is currently pursuing his training at the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, along with his B.Tech degree. An NCC cadet during his school years, Anannt has continued to build on his interest in leadership, teamwork and discipline at NDA. In his sem 2 camp, he and his team secured first place.
After completing his training at NDA, Anannt will continue his journey at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala. His journey from DPS, Vadodara to the NDA is a proud achievement and an example of the opportunities and aspirations that our students can pursue.
